The pavement along the Tankeshwor Marg in Kalimati is in a bad shape. People are compelled to walk on the road because of the bad shape of the pavement.

While the pavement is damaged, the sewage line beside it is also filled with garbage and the concrete slabs covering the line are also missing. Shesh Narayan Shrestha, a local, said the pavement was in a sorry state for the past three years. “But I don’t think the agencies

concerned are aware

of it. Instead of repairing it, the locals have been using the sewage line as a garbage pit,”

he regretted.
