NARAYANGARH: Three members of a family were killed in a fire that broke out in their house in ward no 9 of Phisling of Darechowk village development committee in Chitwan district on Friday night. Buddi Maya Chepang, 37, her 18 month old daughter Sharmila and two month old son Thisal were killed in the fire that had started at 10 pm, police said. The fire started after the thatched roof caught fire from the oven where Buddhi Maya was preparing dinner due to gusty wind, Muglin Area Police Office said. In another incident, a person was killed and another injured when a truck hit a bicycle at Tarkari chowk of Chainpur VDC in Chitwan district this morning. Shankar Darai, 40 was killed while Asharam Darai, 35 was injured in the accident, Khairahani Area Police Office said. Injured Darai is undergoing treatment in Bharatpur Teaching Hospital.
