KATHMANDU: SAP Asia Pacific Japan has announced the introduction of SAP e-Academy programme in Nepal to directly address the issue of perennial shortage of skilled talents in information technology (IT). Francis Lee, Director of Emerging Markets, SAP South East Asia, said, “SAP plans to continue to work with facets of the community and the ecosystem in Nepal to accelerate growth of the software industry.” The SAP e-Academy programme is being offered in Nepal in collaboration with Blue Ocean Systems. It offers a high-tech enviroment conducive for e-learning.This learning-centric approach to training using high interactive web based courses allows working professionals and students easy acess to the eAcademy. Blue Ocean also provides financing packages, internships and job placements for students aspiring to be part of the global SAP community. “At SAP, we understand that education is a key driving force behind the growth of communities and economies, and we look forward to providing enterprises in Nepal with the talents that can drive these changes through the SAP eAcademy”, added Francis.
