DAMAK: Transporters shut down Damak on Thursday protesting an attack on one of their comrades.

A driver, Ambika Pyakurel , was beaten up seriously on Wednesday by the locals and Bhutanese refugees . Vehicular movement was halted following the demonstration by the transporters. The protestors are demanding proper compensation for the victim.
