They started by a lecture by the co-ordinators. Then they had a visit around the APCA house. Then next cape the finaly, the printing press. It was located in Bhainsepati, Lalitpur. The printing machines were very huge. The papers would only be published during midnight but for us, they prited in day time too. Those machines could print eight papers per second! Pulchoki cleaning camp:
A Pulchoki cleaning campaign was initiated by the scout members of St Xavier’s Godavari school through the guidance of helping staff members on 27 February in Pulchoki hill. The trash that was thrown throughout the way were collected by the scouts. Along with them other groups of people were also involved like: the Forestry department, Godavari residents and friends of St Xavier’s. They gave their helping hands while collecting the trash. In addition, Nepco Nepal Ltd. provided transport and many kilograms of collected trash was thrown in their vehicles. Later the non-biodegradable trash was recycled whereas the biodegradable wastages were buried. It seems all the scout members had good experience through this social work.
