MJF, TMDP likely to send names

KATHMANDU: The Gachhadar faction of the Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum and Tarai Madhes Democratic Party have finalised the names of leaders to be sent for the ministerial posts in the new cabinet to represent their parties. Deputy Prime Minister and MJF parliamentary party leader Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar finalised the names of the leaders for the post of ministers after a day-long informal talks with the central committee members and lawmakers of the party. According to a central committee member, DPM Gachhadar would submit the selected names to Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal tomorrow. Similarly, TMDP will also submit the names of leaders selected for the ministerial posts by tomorrow. Speaking to this daily, TMDP leader Ram Kumar Sharma said that there was no dispute within the party to join the new government. The central working committee meeting of the TMDP few days ago had given the authority to pick the names of the party leaders for the ministerial posts to party chairman Mahantha Thakur. TMDP has bagged three seats for the post of ministers in the new cabinet. Meanwhile,Sadbhavana party is unlikely to join the government very soon as it has yet to decide on its party leaders for the post of ministers. Speaking to this daily, Sadbhavana leader Anil Kumar Jha said that there weren't any internal disputes in the party. 'We have raised some genuine issues which needs to be settled,' said Jha. Sadbhavana Party has claimed the posts of two ministers in the new cabinet. However, PM Nepal has only offered one seat to the party.
