LONDON: Britney Spears is reportedly in talks to star in a movie after she completes her Circus world tour.

The singer took on her first film role in 2002's Crossroads and followed it up with several TV appearances including a cameo role in Will & Grace and a recent turn on How I Met Your Mother.

And Spears looks set to return to the big screen in a new project called The Yellow Star of Sophia and Eton, according to America's National Ledger. The publication reports Spears will play the lead role of Sophia, a woman who creates a time machine, travels back to World War II and falls in love with a man she meets at a concentration camp.
