NGO’s plea to PM KATHMANDU: Various organisations working in the health sector, on Sunday, urged Prime Minister Madhav KumarNepal for more healthcare package, ahead of United Nations General Assembly meet, he was heading to. Resource Centre for Primary Health Care (ReCPHeC) in a press statement said that Gordon Brown, Prime Minister of Britain had already shown his commitment for expanded health service in Nepal. ReCPHeC also urged the PM to shed lights on free maternity services being implemented in Nepal, at the Assembly. —HNS Couple found dead GULMI: A couple were found strangulated in a tree in Dhurkot Rajasthal Village Development Committee, Gulmi on Saturday morning. According to District Police Office, Gulmi, Dinesh Bhandary, 22, and his consort Goma GC from Nindula in Dhurkot Rajasthal VDC were found hanging with the same nylon rope in the tree near their house. The duo had tied nuptial knot and it was their first evening at home on Saturday. The commission had passed a decision after investigating into a case of financial loss the college caused to the government run hospital. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has given a three month ultimatum to pay the fine. —HNS
