KATHMANDU: Phintso Ongdi Lama accumulated 36 points to win the KEGG Golf Tournament here at the Gokarna Golf Club today. Lama, a 10-handicap player, scored 22 on the front and added 14 on back nine to lift the trophy. Ang Tsering Sherpa came second on count back after the 4-handicap golfer was tied with Purna Man Shakya at 34 points. Sherpa had 16 points, while Shakya scored 15 on the back nine. A total of 14 amateur golfers took part in the tournament organised by Kathmandu Eager Golfing Group (KEGG). Senior golfer Maj LB Gurung gave away prizes to the winners.
