Nepal to host UIAA KATHMANDU: Union Internationale des Associations d’Alpinisme (UIAA), the umbrella organization of the whole world’s mountaineering associations, has decided to organize a global mountaineering convention in Nepal in 2011. The annual general convention of UIAA held in Portugal on October 6-10 took the decision at the request of Nepal.
