JALESHWOR: A man died from the severe cold in Belguchhi VDC, Mohottari on Saturday night, The deceased has been identified as Hari Nandan Roy Yadav, 55, a resident of Gelguchhi, Mohottari. It is believed that Yadav died due to a shortage of warm clothes in the winter season. In a separate incident, Mangan Prasad Yadav was killed by Bikram Yadav when a clash erupted in Telkuwa, Bara. Yadav died on the way to the hospital. The police arrested Sajan Prasad Yadav, Chhote Lal Yadav, Ram Prit Yadav and Jamin Dar Yadav in connection with the incident. The police said that the main culprit in the incident Bikram Yadav is absconding after the incident. Meanwhile, driver Rajendra Mahato, a resident of Pipariya, Rautahat was killed when his truck heading from Sindhuli to Kathmandu met with an accident in Gauribas, Mohottari on Sunday. According to sources, the police informed that the accident occurred when the brakes of the truck failed. The police said that five persons have sustained injuries and the condition of one of them is serious.
