Kathmandu, April 25:

Chanting slogans against the February 1 Royal move and seeking the restoration of press freedom, human rights and democracy, activists of the Democratic National Youth Federation, Nepal (DNYF), the youth wing of the Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist Leninist, took out rallies in 12 places throughout the valley. Protest rallies were taken out in Chabahil and Jaisidewal (Kathmandu), four places in the Lalitpur district and in three places in the Bhaktapur district. Addressing a corner meeting at Chabahil, Rabindra Adhikary, general secretary, Democratic National Youth Federation, Nepal, said that all the youth activists and the general public should join the agitation for the restoration of democracy.
