Tata Tigor to be launched in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Sipradi Trading, authorised distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, has announced that the New Tata Tigor will soon be launched in the Nepali market.

“Nepal’s customers are always seeking something different and the Tigor is different in terms of looks and features,” shared Arjun Karki, AGM at Sipradi Trading, adding that they will be introducing the new model around the festive season.  According to Karki, the market preference is slowly shifting from the hatchback to the sedan. “Tigor will definitely be the first choice for all current hatchback owners and also the first choice for anyone looking for a ‘stylish’ car at affordable prices,” he claimed.

The new Tata Tigor flaunts a dual-coloured bumper with the Tata signature grille, which is further accentuated by a chrome design in front extending into its smoked projector headlights. The signature split-LED tail lights and an integrated high-mounted LED stop lamp highlight the length of the car. It comes equipped with multiple safety

features like dual front airbags, an energy absorbing body structure, an advanced anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake force distribution (EBD) and corner stability control (CSC) for improved braking efficiency.  The car also features dual path suspensions on its front and rear for a comfortable ride with superior handling.

According to a press release issued by the company, the new Tata Tigor will be available in both petrol and diesel variants - Revotron 1.2L (petrol engine) and Revotorq 1.05L (diesel engine).The Revotron 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine delivers an optimum power of 85 PS and a maximum torque of 114 Nm whereas the Revotorq 1.05L diesel engine delivers an optimum power of 70 PS and a maximum torque of 140 Nm.
