KATHMANDU, MARCH 22

To know the purpose of life, the first question that arises is, who is me? Me which is my name, my physical body, my character and other things. But I am more than that. What I hold as my perception is who I am. The remaining things that define me, such as my name, physical appearance and my character, are controlled by the perception that I hold.

The perception here means what I am holding as my beliefs about life. So my own perception about life is what I represent as myself. What this means is that all the information that I have collected throughout my life forms the basis for shaping my perception. So I am basically energy that is acting as per the perception. I am nothing more than the knowledge that I have.

So all the things that one goes through in life are only making one knowledgeable. The books that one reads and life events that one experiences and witnesses are all designed to make one knowledgeable. Everything that happens in life is an opportunity to learn and become perfect.

But most of the time our memory gets glued to some past events, which interfere with our learning process.

To be knowledgeable and perfect in life, one must not judge others. By judging others, one develops a pre-determined mindset, which interferes with learning new things or new concepts. Hence, one should approach learning without any conditions. Conditions only allow us to learn what we want to learn, not what we should actually learn. By putting conditions before doing anything we only receive partial knowledge.

Only when we approach anything in life with an unconditional approach can one gain complete perfect knowledge about it. So the key point here is, one can adopt an unconditional approach towards others only by not judging others.

It is also the key to remaining happy in life. When one adopts the concept that the unconditional approach is the way of life, then one really remains in a state of happiness. It is because when no conditions are attached, then there will also be no expectation. When one doesn't have expectations and only does the work unconditionally, then that defines perfectness and also the purpose of life.

Yes, to be perfect with accurate knowledge, which leads one to adopt life unconditionally, is the purpose of life. Every time in life, one has a choice whether to approach it conditionally or unconditionally, which determines the outcome as a feeling of satisfaction.

So to be perfect and serve the purpose of life one must adopt an unconditional approach towards everyone and everything.

Which in the long run serves to fulfill the purpose of life.
