Company says achievers will represent Nepal at global MDRT meet in Sydney

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 23

As many as 55 agents from SuryaJyoti Life Insurance have qualified for membership of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) 2026 after meeting the prescribed annual business targets based on their 2025 performance.

Of the total qualifiers, Gaurav Kumar Shahi and Deepak Sapkota have achieved the elite Court of the Table (COT) status. Shahi has qualified for COT for the third time, while Sapkota has achieved the distinction for the second time.

Province-wise, the MDRT qualifiers include two from Koshi Province, 29 from Bagmati, five from Gandaki, 13 from Lumbini, three from Karnali and three from Sudurpaschim, taking the total to 55. The company also honoured eight agents with long-service awards-six for achieving MDRT three or more times and two for achieving MDRT five or more times.

Chief Executive Officer Prakash Bikram Khatri congratulated all the MDRT 2026 qualifiers, noting that they will represent Nepal and SuryaJyoti Life at the global gathering of insurance professionals scheduled to be held in Sydney, Australia. He expressed appreciation for the dedication and hard work of the agents and encouraged them to continue their efforts with greater commitment in the future.
