‘Quality work in construction needed’

Bhaktapur, March 25:

According to the central chairman of the Federation of the Nepal Construction Entrepreneurs, Sakuntlal Hirachan, construction entrepreneurs should give priority to quality constructions for building a new Nepal.

Inaugurating the seventh general meeting of Bhaktapur Construction Entrepreneur Association and the third district conference, he pointed out the need for an immediate amendment in the Public Purchase Bill-2063 as it is not in the interest of construction entrepreneurs.

At the programme, Gopinath Banstola, involved in the construction business for the last 20 years and 15 other entrepreneurs, including chairman of Bhaktapur Construction Entrepreneurs’ Association, Madhuram Lamichhane, who were also active participants of the Jan- Andolan II, were felicitated.

Chairman of the Central Regional Construction Entrepreneurs’ Association, Vijay Lal Joshi and chairman of the Valley Construction Entrepreneurs Association, Roshan Dahal emphasised the importance of peace for rebuilding the nation. While several speakers expressed their views, vice-chairman of the Bhaktapur Construction Entrepreneurs’ Association, Hari Ram Bajgain and treasurer Deep Bahadur Thapa presented financial papers.
