KATHMANDU: Agriculture minister Mrigendra Kumar Singh Yadav along with ministry secretary Uttam Kumar Bhattarai is heading for Kolkata in India to attend the AGRO Protech 2009 and 2E Agri- business summit on November 3. The event will last for three days and the Indian Chambers of Commerce expect the participation of some 3000 farmers. Farmers from West Bengal, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar and north-eastern states of India are expected to participate in the event. Agricultural production and products prices and market structures will be discussed.
