Kathmandu, November 10:

Alltech has started its 21st annual Asia-Pacific (AP) Lecture Tour from October 29.

The key focus of this tour is ‘The new energy crisis: food, feed or fuel’ — an area which is of increasing concern for the future of animal and consumer industry, particularly with the increase in demand for ethanol production and the escalating demand for suitable feedstocks and energy sources.

This year’s tour will visit a total of 16 countries throughout the Asia-Pacific region that has started from Auckland, New Zealand — on October 29 — and will finish in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Novemb-er 17. The Asia-Pacific region is a major player in ethanol boom since China is already the third-largest producer.
