KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 5
Aloft Kathmandu Thamel successfully organized the 11th edition of its annual "Road to Give" charity fund session at Narayan Chour Park, Naxal, promoting wellness, teamwork, and social responsibility as part of Marriott International's global initiative.
The event featured a short walkathon and body-stretching session, encouraging health and mindfulness while raising funds for charity. Proceeds from the event were donated to Manjushree Children's Home and Shree Rescue Animal Welfare on the same day.
General Manager Vikram Singh said the event symbolized "compassion, togetherness, and purpose," emphasizing the hotel's commitment to supporting both people and animals in need. "Road to Give is a wonderful reminder that every small step can create meaningful change. It's about community, compassion, and care - values that are at the heart of Aloft. We're proud to stand alongside the Marriott Business Council and our fellow Marriott properties in giving back to causes that truly matter."
Adding to this, Sanjay Gupta, Chairman of the Marriott India Business Council, said, "Each year, Road to Give reminds us of the extraordinary power of collective purpose. As we celebrate its 11th edition, we recognize the compassion, energy, and unity our associates bring to their communities across South Asia. Their efforts continue to strengthen Marriott's legacy of care, inclusion, and service."
Now in its 11th year, the "Road to Give" initiative continues to unite Marriott associates and communities worldwide in making a positive impact beyond the workplace.
