AML conference held
KATHMANDU: National Banking Institute (NBI) conducted the third episode of the annual Anti-Money Laundering (AML) conference here on Thursday.
In the inaugural speech, Nepal Bankers’ Association President Gyanendra Dhungana pointed out the significance of AML as a global initiative that needs to be taken care of for the well being of the financial system and economy of the country, as per a media release.
Ravi Lahoti, principal officer and head of AML, HDFC Bank, India was one of the key speakers who highlighted on decoding red flag indicators and identifying suspicious patterns. Over 150 banking professionals from across Nepal attended the summit.
