KATHMANDU: Asian Paints Nepal (APN) has come up with a social initiative to mark Baisakh 12 (April 24) as a day for solidarity and unity, in the memory of the departed souls who lost their lives because of the natural calamity last year, and has appealed to all to wear black and white or full white dress on the day with a white armband, and spread message and thoughts for the day through ‘#hamronepal’. As per a statement issued on Friday, this social initiative marked by Asian Paints seeks to share the sorrows of the families who lost their family members or near and dear ones and belongings and empathise their pain due to the devastation of last year and also wants to spread a message to stay strong for a better tomorrow. Asian paints is planning to inaugurate the reconstruction initiative they have undertaken in the devastated Parigaon village of Naubise VDC.
