Auto magazine launched

Surya Sunder Publication Ltd (SSPL) has launched ‘auto Nepal’ — a monthly magazine in Nepali on the auto industry. Priced at Rs 80, the magazine will provide information on the domestic auto market and growing trends in automobiles, new technologies and newly-launched vehicles. Speaking at the launch of the magazine, Gopal Thapaliya, president of South Asia Free Media Association (SAFMA), said that the magazine would fill the demand for a auto magazine in Nepal. “The auto industry in recent years has gained momentum in Nepal and a magazine of such a kind would help customers to select vehicles that suit their needs best,” said Ujjal Jung Parakram Shah, editor of the auto Nepal. The magazine will play a promotional role for the development of auto industry and encourage fair competition among players, he added. The magazine would be of importance in bridging the gap between

the customers and suppliers, providing them complete information on types, models and comparative advantages of one vehicle over others, said Gautam Kumar Shrestha, president of SSPL.
