Kathmandu, September 1:
The third edition of Bajaj Maha X-change Mela has received a huge response, as it has already met its targets — of exchanging 600 bikes — one day ahead.
As a result the organizer - Hansraj Hulashchand & Company, sole distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, is planning for an extension of the event. “An extension for the Mela is being planned,” said Pranay Hada, marketing manager at Hansraj Hulashchand & Company. According to him, 150 bikes were exchanged on the first day and 232 on the second day and more than 200 are expected to be exchanged today.
Altogether 26 recondition companies are taking part in the event with a view of providing a customer the best bargain for their motorcycle, said Hada adding that newly launched Bajaj Discover 135 and Pulsar 200 are the major attractions for customers.
Six finance companies are offering on the spot finance, while an insurance company is assisting on the spot insurance service.
Bajaj claims that it caters to the need of all the classes.
