Kathmandu, February 5:

It was curtains for the fourth edition of the Bajaj Maha X-change Mela here at Bhrikuti Mandap on Tuesday. The six-day motorcycle exchange fair received a huge response from customers, according to officials of Hansraj Hulaschand Company, the authorised distributor of Bajaj Motorcycles.

The X-change mela was held from January 31 to February 5. The last two days were added due to the overwhelming response of the customers.

“Despite the adverse weather conditions and the raging fuel crisis, we managed to sell about 1,226 motorcycles this time,” said general manager Raju Chhetri. There were approximately 5,000 participants in the mela who had come down with their bikes and took help from more than 25 companies regarding the sales, inquiry and exchange of motorcycles, claimed Chhetri.
