Kathmandu, October 29:

Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) is going to organise the third Bangladesh Knitwear Exhibition Knit Exposition 2007 on November 27-29 at Dhaka Sheraton Hotel, Bangladesh.

The expo will display knitwear products and raw materials (yarns, knit fabrics and accessories) as well as knitting, dyeing and other relevant machinery and services.

The event is expected to create a great opportunity for the buyers from around the world to source knitwear products — both fine knitwear and sweater — directly from more than hundred manufacturers and suppliers from Bangladesh, states a press release.

A substantial number of Bangladeshi knitwear manufacturers and exporters will display their whole range of products in the event.

As the yarn, fabrics, accessories and machinery manufacturers and suppliers from around the world are also going to be major attractions that will lure the local customers, participants and visitors, the expo will also offer a unique chance to reach many Bangladesh entrepreneurs and factory owners at a time.

“It may be mentioned that currently Bangladeshi exporters are supplying high quality leading brands to the chain stores and the importers of all over the world,” states the release adding that the knitwear buyers from Nepal will also find it worthy and interesting to visit the event.

BKEMEA has also invited interested knitwear buyers from Nepal and offered them free registration. “It will also arrange special air fair, hotel rate and factory visit

for them in Bangladesh,” claimes the press release.
