BoK’s CSR initiative

KATHMANDU: As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), Bank of Kathmandu (BoK) has handed over Rs 500,000 to Dhurmus Suntali Foundation. Ajay Shrestha, CEO of BoK, presented the cheque to Sitaram Kattel of Dhurmus Suntali Foundation amidst a brief programme held at the bank, as per a press statement issued on Tuesday.  The foundation is headed by popular Nepali comedian couple Kattel and Kunjana Ghimire, who are engaged in different post-earthquake social initiatives. At present, the foundation is supporting construction of 65 houses under a concept of integrated settlement development. These facilities consist of 65 houses with attached toilet, a community hall and facility for education of the children at Giranchaur VDC of Sindhupalchowk district.
