BARN sets rules for members
KATHMANDU; Board of Airlines Representatives in Nepal (BARN) on Wednesday held an emergency meeting over the hinderance caused by travel agents in the functioning of member airlines. BARN said that in oder to bring Nepalese travel industry to global standards it fully supports the introduction of BSP-IATA in international air ticketing. It urged its members to avail of transactions only through network of IATA-accredited travel agents. BARN member airlines have full right to select their IATA agents and set terms and conditions pertaining to reservations, payments and deportation. BARN recommends the travel fraternity in Nepal secure IATA accreditations to be able to transact international air ticketing.
