KATHMANDU: Bhat-Bhateni Supermarket and Department Store (BBSM) is opening its new outlet in Dharan on Saturday. The outlet in Dharan will be BBSM’s 11th, as per a statement issued on Thursday. BBSM, which had commenced operation from Tangal, Bhat-Bhateni, has established itself as a major brand name. It already has nine outlets in Kathmandu and one in Pokhara. Moreover, BBSM plans to launch an outlet in Bharatpur, Chitwan in the near future. All the existing BBSM outlets have provided job opportunity to more than 5,000 people and the Dharan outlet, which was built at a total cost of Rs 510 million, will employ around 200 people.
