KATHMANDU: Senior officials of the World Bank and chartered accountants have stressed on the need to reform the accounting profession for public sector institutions. An exclusive meeting between the World Bank officials and Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAN) was held yesterday to discuss on ‘Public Accounting Standards’, says a press release. —HNS
