GBL’s 25th branch

KATHMANDU: Global Bank Ltd inaugurated its 25th branch office at Narayanthan, Bhairahawa on Thursday. According to the bank release, it has registered a total paid up capital of Rs 1 billion and total deposit of Rs 13.10 billion with total operating profit of Rs 176.2 million.

KATHMANDU: Laxmi Bank started its operations from its ninth branch at Sukedhara Chowk. The branch will offer a full range of retail banking solutions and savings schemes that pays interest up to 7.5 per cent per annum, life insurance, retail loans, credit cards, bill payment facilities and e-banking services. The Bank now has 22 branches located across the country from Damak in the East to Nepalgunj in the West.

Scheme revived

KATHMANDU: Citizens Bank International Ltd has revived its super saving scheme under which a customer can open bank account at Rs 50,000 with daily interest rate of 8 per cent . The accounts holder under this scheme will get discount of 25 per cent in locker facility, 50 per cent discount on travelers check and 25 per cent discount on demand draft, states the bank release.
