DCBL to give dividend

KATHMANDU:

The board of directors’ meeting of Development Credit Bank Ltd (DCBL) has proposed to give a 12.63 per cent dividend to its shareholders on Wednesday. DCLB recorded an operating profit of Rs 75.1 million during the fiscal year 2004-05, whereas the net profit stood at Rs 35.6 million after tax and loan loss provisioning. The bank is floating rights share in a ratio of 2:1 to its shareholders from August 24. — HNS

‘Withdraw ultimatum’

KATHMANDU:

Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) has urged the pro-Maoists ANWA, Makwanpur to withdraw its ultimatum to close down Unilever Nepal Ltd factory. NICCI has said that such an act will cause a series of consequences to the economy. — HNS
