KATHMANDU: Bhoj Kumari Baskota, 81, mother of finance secretary Krishna Hari Baskota, passed away on Monday while under treatment in Star Hospital at Balkhu, Kathmandu. She was suffering from rheumatism and diabetes for a long time. — HNS

Prime’s IPO allotted

KATHMANDU: Citizen Investment Trust (CIT), issue manager of the initial public offering (IPO) of Prime Commercial Bank Ltd allotted 3 million unit-shares on Monday. Some 3,35,448 people applied but 74,858, including 155 staff got shares. — HNS

Nepal CSI shares

KATHMANDU: Nepal CSI Development Bank Ltd will issue shares equivalent to Rs 3 million within 2009 at face value of Rs 100 each through NIDC Capital Market Ltd. After the issuance of initial public offering (IPO), the bank’s paid-up capital will be Rs 1 billion. KATHMANDU: The 21st annual general meeting of National Life Insurance Company Ltd elected five directors under the chairmanship of Prema Rajya Laxmi Singh on Monday. KATHMANDU: Chinese Mountaineering Association (CMA) has

appointed Himalaya Expeditions (HE) its direct expedition agent in Nepal. CMA will be responsible forall logistical services to foreign expedition groups organized by HE in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. HE is the authentic partner of CMA ever since 2003. — HNS
