Goods confiscated

KATHMANDU:

Goods worth Rs 500,000 confisticated by a revenue patrolling team of the armed police force have been turned over to Tatopani customs office. The team had confiscated the goods which were being imported from China through Tatopani VDC-3, Kodari. The goods comprise of readymade garments, pots and motor parts. — RSS

Bee-keeping training ends

LEKHNATH:

Local development fund committee, Kaski held a three-day long basic training on bee-keeping for farmers engaged in commercial bee keeping at Lekhnath municipality recently. Some 21 farmers of different community organisations within the municipality participated in the training. — RSS

Forest promotion urged

SARLAHI:

Forest users of Sarlahi district have emphasised the need to develop and promote partnership forest programme in an interaction programme held recently. Local people and journalists participated in the programme at which participants expressed the view that the partnership forest programme should be promoted to benefit all consumers as only a small number of users are benefiting from community forests. — RSS
