Kist has 37 branches

KATHMANDU: Kist Bank on Thursday started operation of its 37th branch office at Kalimati in Kathmandu. According to the youngest commercial bank, it plans to establish a total of 50 branch offices within the present fiscal year. Five more branch offices are under construction," said the bank. — HNS

Diyalo turns three

KATHMANDU: Diyalo Bikas Bank completed its second year of establishment on Tuesday. The bank has recently launched its new scheme Diyalo Platinum Saving, under which its customer can get an interest rate of 8.50 per cent. It also has a special one year deposit account with 10 per cent interest rate, said the bank. — HNS

SC order to NTB

KATHMANDU: Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday asked to reinstate the members of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB). The Supreme Court has issued interim order to reinstate two executive members of NTB. The single bench of Justice Khil Raj has reinstated Ganesh Simkhada and Ngimi Sherpa in their post. — HNS

Skill training

MYAGDI: Skill training has been provided to the physically challenged people in Myagdi district. During the 10-day training, 21 different physically challenged people from various parts of the district took part. The training has been conducted in a bid to encourage those disabled to make them independent. In the training various skills such as chair and bench making, sewing, cutting including others will be provided. — RSS
