Nepal to host UIAA

KATHMANDU: Union Internationale des Associations d’Alpinisme (UIAA), the umbrella organization of the whole world’s mountaineering

associations, has decided to

organize a global mountaineering convention in Nepal in 2011. The annual general convention of UIAA held in Portugal on October 6-10 took the decision at the request of Nepal. Nepal Mountaineering Association president participated in the Portugal convention. — HNS

Apartment bookings

KATHMANDU: Lifestyle Housing Group has opened the booking of Status Enclave apartments located at Sanepa Heights of Lalitpur district. The group has targeted it at Non-Resident Nepalis (NRNs) and the bookings opened during the inaugural of the fourth global conference of NRNs here. According to the company, 60 per cent construction of the apartment is complete. — HNS
