Sunrise-Al Ahalia pact

KATHMANDU: Sunrise Bank and Al Ahalia Money Exchange Bureau, UAE, signed an agreement to facilitate Nepalis residing in the UAE for sending remittance back home. General manager of Sunrise Bank Suman Neupane and general manager of Al Ahalia Money Exchange Bureau V S Thampi signed the agreement at Exchange House in Abu Dhabi, UAE. “With this arrangement, more than 3,00,000 Nepalis residing in different parts of the UAE will benefit while sending remittance from 14 branches of Al Ahalia located all over UAE to more than 275 locations, including Sunrise Bank’s branches in Nepal,” said the bank. Nepalis residing in UAE and willing to open accounts in any of the branches of Sunrise Bank in Nepal can do so by completing necessary formalities at any of Al Ahalia Money Exchange Bureau branches. — HNS

Bajaj exchange mela

KATHMANDU: Bajaj Motorcycles is organising Bajaj Maha X-change Mela for the sixth time from August 20 to 23 to bring out the designs that are suited for all age-groups. In this edition of Bajaj X-change Mela — like the previous five — various exchange companies will take part, said the company. There will be more than 20 companies assimilated in the Mela that will help the customers get the best value for their old motorcycles. In this Mela, all brands of motorcycles from Bajaj will be provided. — HNS
