Dugar NJC prez

KATHMANDU: Kishan Lal Dugar was elected president of Nepal Jain Council (NJC) on Sunday. NJC selected Dugar for his contribution to religious, economic and social sectors. The council forwarded a note of utmost appreciation and asked him to accept the responsibility of being the president of the society that looks after the welfare of all Jain people. Dugar accepted the responsibility in a ceremony held the same day at Bhagwan Mahabir Jain Niketan, Kamal Pokhari, Kathmandu.

Sewa IPO

KATHMANDU: Sewa Development Bank Ltd located in Butwal has got permission to issue initial public offering (IPO) of 4,00,000 units of shares from Securities Board of Nepal on Thursday. The bank has appointed NMB Bank Ltd as issue manager.

Allo zone

KATHMANDU: Businessmen and entrepreneurs of Parbat district have asked the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) to develop the district as an Allo (natural fiber for cloth) zone. A delegation of Parbat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) urged FNCCI on Sunday to initiate steps for the purpose. PCCI also urged to include the district in

skill development training list and start ‘One village, one product’ scheme. PCCI members are here on a visit to different business and industry institutions.
