RMBFL to give bonus

KATHMANDU: Royal Merchant Banking and Finance Limited (RMBFL) declared 10 per cent bonus share, 0.5263 per cent cash dividend and 1:1 right shares. The eighth Annual General Meeting of the company held on Saturday in Kathmandu decided these. The company has posted earn net orofit of Rs 21.88 million in the fiscal year 2008-09. The deposits, loan disbursement and investment of the finance companies is Rs 1,337 million, Rs 1,180 million and Rs 185.40 million respectively.

NAMEA formed

KATHMANDU: Mechanics and engineers working in Nepali airlines united under the umbrella of Nepal Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Association (NAMEA), registering it as a professional organization. NAMEA has set up a 15-member ad hoc committee under the presidency of Ram Prasad Bhusal. Sharad Kumar Wagle and Bhola Maske are vice-president and general secretary respectively in the ad hoc committee. NAMEA will be a professional organization and not affiliated to political parties, Maske said on Saturday. It will only work for collective bargaining and protect the rights of its members, he added.

Blood donation

KATHMANDU: Bank of Asia on Saturday organized a blood donation drive in its office compound. Officials of the bank said that the blood donation programme was organized under the Corporate Social Responsibility factor of the bank. Altogether 83 people donated blood during the campaign.

Zenith holds 2nd AGM

KATHMANDU: Zenith Finance Limited conducted its second annual general meeting (AGM) on Friday at United World Trade Center. During the meeting, the company targetted to issue shares worth Rs 40.20 million to its customers within the fiscal year 2009-10. The company has been operating its services as a “C” level finance company from its New road and Baglung branch.
