Sunrise, WU tie-up
KATHMANDU: Sunrise Bank Ltd has started operations to provide remittance service of Western Union through one of its primary agents in Nepal —- Hulas Remittance Pvt Ltd. According to Sunrise Bank Ltd CEO Kishore Maharjan, the bank is now affiliated to Hulas Remittance to help customers receive money sent from abroad through all branches of Sunrise Bank. Meanwhile, the bank opened its 13th branch at Chabahil in Kathmandu. The branch will provide all services and facilities like Sunrise Normal Savings, Sunrise Super Savings, Sunrise Bal Bachat, Sunrise Ghar Karja, Sunrise Education Loan and Sunrise Overdraft Savings. — HNS
Heidelberg scheme
KATHMANDU: Beesants Trading Co Pvt Ltd has planned the Heidelberg Knowledge Series to educate, share and build on the ‘Possibilities in offset printing in Nepal’. The event, taking place for the first time in Nepal will be held on Monday and Tuesday. The first will be targeted at print buyers and second at print sellers, said Krishna Chandra Kayastha, chairman of Beesants Trading Co Pvt Ltd. German experts from Heidelberg will brief the sessions. Beesants has also announced the arrival and commissioning of the latest Heidelberg offset printing machines. This is the first time a composite package of pre-press, press and post-press machines have been brought here. Printing in Nepal will now be redefined. — HNS
LIC cash dividend
KATHMANDU: The board of directors of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) Nepal Ltd on Sunday decided to distribute 15 per cent cash dividend to shareholders. According to a press release, the decision has to be approved by the regulator of insurance agencies and the next annual general meeting. — HNS
