Kist’s new branches

KATHMANDU: Kist Merchant Banking and Finance on Monday opened operations at its 14th and 15th branch offices at Damak and Birtamod, respectively. According to a press statement, the bank is in the process of upgrading itself to an A-grade commercial bank. — HNS

AFC to give bonus

KATHMANDU: Annapurna Finance Company’s (AFC) 15th AGM approved 30 per cent bonus and 1:1.6 rights share. The company has a total paid up capital of Rs 201.6 million and till date it has collected Rs 1.96 billion deposit, said a press note. — HNS

ILFC decision

KATHMANDU: During its 13th AGM, International Leasing and Finance Company (ILFC) approved 1:2.1 rights shares to its shareholders. After issuance of rights shares, its paid up capital will be Rs 2.88 billion. At present, it has Rs 648 million paid up capital, said a press release. In the fiscal year 2007-08, the company had posted an operating profit of Rs 43 million - an increment by 24 per cent over the last fiscal year. — HNS
