KBL opens 3 ATMs

KATHMANDU: Kumari Bank Ltd has set up an ATM each at its Baglung, Bhairahawa and Damauli branches, making the number of its ATMs a total of 18. Of the total number of the ATMs, nine are in Kathmandu valley - two at Putalisadak and one each at Kumaripati Lalitpur, New Road, Gongabu, Durbarmarg, Thamel, New Baneshwor and Ratnapark. — HNS

Yamaha Mini Mela

KATHMANDU: Yamaha Motorcycles will organise two mini melas, one each in Butwal and Dharan ,from December 12 to 15. The mini melas will be organised by Sapana Automobiles Traders in Butwal and the one at Dharan will be organised by Gajurmukhi Trade and Service Link, said the company. Apart from other schemes that will be on, customers can also buy the new Yamaha 153 cc FZ 16 in the mini melas. — HNS

Hydel project

DAMAULI: Nepali Congress vice-president Ram Chandra Poudel on Tuesday inaugurated the 13KW Banjakhola Rural Electricity Project in Kot Durbar VDC-4 of Tanahun district. On the occasion, he claimed that only the NC was committed to all-round development of the country and that it would have transformed the country into a Switzerland of Asia had the Maoists not started the violent conflict 13 years ago. The project was constructed at a cost of Rs 2.4 million. Rural Energy Development Project, Tanahun DDC and Kot Durbar VDC funded the project that will benefit some 700 people in at least 120 households. — RSS
