Oz-Nepal biz ties
KATHMANDU: Narendra Basnet, acting president of CNI during a meeting with Australian ambassador Graeme Lade and trade commissioner Michael Carter insisted on development of business relation between Australia and Nepal. According to a press statement, representatives from CNI focused on the Australian investments in Nepal, which is very minimum and urged for a joint investments in agriculture, tourism, and other sectors. Similarly, NCC also met with them and requested them for more investment in Nepal. — HNS
BoK’s 14th ATM
KATHMANDU: Bank of Kathmandu (BoK) has established an ATM counter at Chuchepati. It now has 14 ATM counters and it plans to install 25 more ATMs nationwide in this fiscal year, said a press release. — HNS
PDBL shares allotted
KATHMANDU: Pashupati Development Bank Ltd (PDBL) alloted 8,00,000-unit share with face value Rs 100. According to a press release, 28,166 applicants amongst 1,05,202 (along with 21 employees) got shares. NIDC Capital Markets and Nepal Finance were issue managersy. — HNS
