KDBL in Baglung
KATHMANDU: Kasthamandap Development Bank Ltd (KDBL) opened its ninth branch in Baglung Bazar. Bank chairman Jaganath Gyawali inaugurated the branch on Monday. The bank posted a profit of Rs 269,374 in the first year of its operation whereas it has got a profit of Rs 9 million in the first 10 months of the current fiscal year. KDBL has a deposit of Rs 1.485 billion and has invested Rs 953 million. Moreover, the bank has started issuing its shares to the public. KDBL' initial public offering (IPO) issue manager is NIDC Capital Market Ltd. The process is awaiting a decision from Securities Board of Nepal. — HNS
StanChart's 19th ATM
KATHMANDU: Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd installed an automated teller machine (ATM) at Lion's Chowk of Narayangarh on Tuesday. The 19th ATM of the bank accepts Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Cirrus and JBC cards along with bank's own credit cards. The bank has 12 ATM outlets in Kathmandu valley and seven outside. — HNS
