RBB’s new ATM

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) has opened its ATM service at Balaju. According to a press statement, the bank has ATM counters at Singhadurbar, Teku, Bir Hospital, Thamel, Maharajgunj, Baneshwor and Lalitpur. It plans to provide ATM services at 30 more places including Jorpati, Nepal Airlines Corporation, Dharmapath and in Butwal and Pokhara within this fiscal year. — HNS

Guna Colony open

KATHMANDU: Guna Colony at Lazimpat has opened its LP Apartments and LLP Apartments. According to a press statement, LP Apartment has 50 flats in 14 storeys and each flat costs Rs 12.2-16.5 million while LLP Apartments has 48 flats in 13 storeys, with each flat costing Rs 7.9 million to 8.9 million. It allows payment on instalment basis with discounted interest rates for 15-20 years through Bank of Asia, Siddhartha Bank and Guna Cooperative Ltd. — HNS

SBL’s seventh branch KATHMANDU: Sunrise Bank Ltd opened its seventh branch in Kalimati on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion bank CEO Kishore Maharjan said, “It will mainly focus on effective expansion of small and medium enterprises loans. The bank will also grant loans to all categories of entrepreneurs and industrialists as well as provide attractive interest rates on deposits. The interest rate will be 6.5 per cent per annum on Sunrise normal savings account,” he said. The bank aims to establish at least 10 branches by the end of the fiscal year. — HNS

EBL new branch

KATHMANDU: Everest Bank Ltd (EBL) opened its 27th branch at Besishahar on Thursday. “With the opening of this branch, EBL has the largest branch network among private sector commercial banks and all branches are connected with Anywhere Branch Banking Systems (ABBS),” claimed the bank. The bank has 15 ATM counters and has expansion plans at many more locations. EBL debit card has access to around 150 ATMs in Nepal and more than 1500 ATM locations in India whereby EBL customers going to India need not carry cash but simply withdraw through EBL debit cards. — HNS
