Prime’s new scheme
KATHMANDU: Prime Life Insurance has launched a new insurance scheme for Nepali workers going to foreign countries for employment. The policy has been issued at subsidised fee for workers heading overseas. Nepali overseas jobseekers can buy a policy of Rs 5,00,000 for a period of one to five years. In case of the policy holder dying in a foreign country, the company will provide insured fee of Rs 5,00,000 and additional Rs 50,000 (the maximum) to bring his or her body back to the country. The company will also pay the insured fee (as per injuries sustained) if the policy holder is injured in an accident in a foreign country. — HNS
Secret SMS launched
KATHMANDU: Innovative PPL on Friday soft-launched a mobile application which will enable users to send secured messages that no one else can read except the intended recipient. The application offers password locking system for messages in Secret SMS Inbox and provides security to messages via wireless medium. “Secret SMS is proven technology and security system intended to protect your data and maintain your privacy and confidentiality at all times,” a release says. — HNS
