Sunrise in Gabahal
KATHMANDU: Sunrise Bank Ltd has started its operation in Gabahal of Lalitpur from Thursday. Satya Mohan Joshi, renowned scholar inaugurate the sixth branch of the bank that looks forward to efficiently granting loans to small to large scale entrepreneurs and industrialists as well as providing attractive interest rates on deposits, states a press release. It provides the highest interest rate of 6.5 per cent per annum on Sunrise Normal Savings account. It has so far collected Rs 4 billion deposit and floated over Rs 3.5 billion loan. — HNS

SBI Bank’s donation
KATHMANDU: Nepal SBI Bank Ltd donated a brand new computer set and printer to Nandi Madhyamik School, Naxal, Kathmandu on Thursday. Bala Krishna Shrestha, chairman of the bank handed over the computer set and Hasana Sharma, director handed over printer to Bhola Prasad Thapaliya, head master of the school. “It is a part of bank’s corporate social obligation,” said a press release. — HNS
Call to reopen factory
BUTWAL: The staff of Butwal Spinning Mills have locked the office of the chief of the company. Employees of the company have not got their salary for the last nine months and the company has remained closed for the last five months. The employees’ provident fund has also not been deposited for the last 24 months. — RSS
