RMBFL’s new scheme

KATHMANDU: Royal Merchant Banking & Finance Ltd (RMBFL) has launched new deposit scheme called ‘Royal Tinko Paanch Yojana’ with effective from Sunday. The scheme is targeted to middle and lower-middle class as well as jobholders to encourage them to cultivate savings habit, states a press release. A customer can deposit any amount equivalent to Rs 3,000 or its multiple and will receive back amount equivalent to Rs 5000 or it’s multiple. Depositors can get annual yield as high as 11.7 per cent and loan up to 100 per cent of the deposit amount at an additional one per cent interest, claims the company. — HNS

United Flexi account

KATHMANDU: United Finance Ltd has announced seven per cent interest on United Flexi savings accounts. United Flexi savings accounts can be opened with a minimum Rs 1000 balance. “It will pay interest on daily balance in every six month,” states a press release. Under the scheme, a customer will get free accident insurance and cheque and 0.5 per cent discount on new loans, administration cost and advance respectively. — HNS

BA enters 11th year

KATHMANDU: Business Advantage (BA), an advertising communications firm has celebrated its 10th anniversary on Thursday. “To bring a creative revolution in advertising and to be the best at it is our mission,” says Subu Shrestha, director of the Business Advantage. The agency was established in May 1998 by Subu Shrestha and Deependra Tandon, the MBA graduates specialising in marketing and advertising from KU.
