NBL to build complex
KATHMANDU: Nepal Bank Ltd (NBL) is set to construct an office-cum-commercial complex at Prithvi Chowk in Pokhara. Dr Binod Atreya, coordinator of NBL management team, Bhagat Bista, member of management team, Janak Raj Shah, chief manager at NBL and Rishi Subedi, chairman of Tudi Construction Pvt Ltd jointly laid the foundation stone of the complex amid a function on April 28. According to Dr Atreya, the complex will be the first of its kind in Pokhara with all modern facilities, security system and ample parking area. — HNS

KATHMANDU: The first exclusive brand outlet of ‘Springwood’, a men’s wear brand from Surya Nepal has been opened at Bluebird Mall, Tripureshwor. Displaying a wide range of products at affordable prices, the range has a variety of shirts, T-shirts, trousers, cargos, and denims with various colours, states a press release. Shirts are available from Rs 450 onwards while trousers are priced from Rs 650 upwards. The range of Springwood includes formal as well as casual. — HNS
BoK in Jumla
KATHMANDU: Bank of Kathmandu (BoK) is set to open its 21st branch in Jumla bazaar, the headquarters of Karnali zone. The branch will start its operations from Friday, states a bank press release. The bank plans to provide banking services to the customers in the neighbouring districts of Humla, Kalikot, Dolpa and Mugu from the new branch. — HNS
