CEDBL holds AGM

KATHMANDU: Clean Energy Development Bank Ltd (CEDBL) held its first AGM in Kathmandu. The bank has mobilised deposits worth Rs 590 million during the first ten months of its operations in the fiscal year 2006-07 and disbursed loans to the tune of Rs 800 million, states a press release. The bank in the first six months of the current fiscal year has mobilised deposits worth Rs 1.1 billion and disbursed Rs 1.7 billion loans. — HNS

Nod to rights shares

KATHMANDU: Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has given approval for issuance of rights shares to Siddhartha Development Bank Ltd, Butwal of Rupandehi and Prudential Bittiya Sanstha Ltd, Dillibazaar, Kathmandu. SDBL and PBSL each will issue 5,00,000 unit rights shares with a face value of Rs 100 each. — HNS
