Nat’l Industrial fair

KATHMANDU: Federation of Nepal Cottage and Small Industries (FNCSI) is organising Cottage Industry Fair-2064 and National Industrial Fair on December 6-10. During the exhibition, the federation is also organising a seminar on ‘village tourism and rural electrification beneficial for poverty reduction’ and experts from SAARC will address the seminar, states a press release issued by FNCSI. — HNS

HBL scheme winner

KATHMANDU: Rajan Raj Onta, deposit receipt number 1015178, has become the lucky winner of the Himalayan Bank Ltd (HBL)’s Banau lakhpati deposit scheme. “It is the sixth and last lucky draw of the scheme after the regulatory body Nepal Rastra bank banned all such schemes,” states a press release. BDB’s rights shares

KATHMANDU: Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has approved 16,10,000 units of rights share for Rs 100 per unit of Bhrikuti Development Bank (BDB). NIDC Capital Markets and Capital Merchant Banking and Finance have been appointed issue manager and Ace Development Bank has been appointed its sales manager, states a press release. — HNS

Orange production up

DAMAULI: The production of oranges in Tanahun, a district famous for orange cultivation, is estimated to double — due to favourable precipitation during the flowering period and as there was no precipitation of hailstones — this year compared to last year, according to Basudev Kafle, Planning Officer. Orange production this year is expected to touch Rs 200 million. — RSS
